Slate recently had an article on Christians and Pop Culture. More astute than most Christian commentary on the subject I might add.

Wow. Sad is the day when an astute Christian commentary is so rare a thing that we put big flags around it.

I don’t think it is as rare on other subjects, but Christians have definitely struggled with the issues of Christianity & the arts much more as of late. (And they generally fall in a ditch on one side or the other)

Hanna Rosin, the author of that article, also wrote an interesting book about Patrick Henry College, called “God’s Harvard.” It was interesting and not too judgmental about the college, but I also found certain aspects of it worrisome. A good read.
